1. We are tempted to fixate on our problems and fears. What does it look like to wisely prepare for the problems Jesus promises we will face while focusing our attention on and placing our trust in Him, who knows every trial we will face and plans to use it for our good?

Thank you, God, that when you come back to restore all things, there will no longer be sickness, accidents, stealing, or loss.  Please grow our trust in you and help us to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves while we wait for you to return.  Amen.
